This article uses the World Cup giveaway of an anti-rape condom as the attention grabbing hook for the story. As noted, most of the catagories are either satisfactorily covered or not applicable but this is a classic example of an article that could have been dramatically improved with just a small amount of research either by the reporter or by the sub-editors involved in placing the story on the website. A simple Google search and reading of Wikipedia reveals interesting detail about the device. It was unveiled in 2005 and production began in 2007, meaning that three years of evidence about its use is available to anyone writing about it. This would have made an otherwise satisfactory but nondescript article about an important subject all the more readable and educative.
